Miele B990 Overview
The Miele rotary iron is loaded with features. This easy-to-use appliance has a wide roller that allows you to press everything from shirts and pants to bed linens and tablecloths, all with a crisp, professional finish. The electronically controlled roller speed can be adjusted to suit the type of laundry being pressed, and your own individual working speed. It is operated through the use of a foot pedal, allowing you to sit while you iron.

Three Temperature Settings

Wide Roller
The ironing area is five times larger than conventional ironing surfaces. The 32.5 “roller width allows very easy ironing of large laundry objects.
Automatic Finger Guard
If your fingers get under the hinged finger barrier, the safety switch will immediately react and turn off the motor. The motion of the roller stops, and the plate of the heater retracts.
Convenient Airing Bar
The fold-out airing bar allows the draping of items to avoid fresh wrinkles.
Emergency Release
Where power is cut during ironing, when the foot switch is removed, the heater plate can not immediately retract. To immediately remove your laundry, you can manually release the pressure from the heater plate by triggering the release of the emergency. Then you can pull the laundry item out in the direction of the roller motion. This makes sure your textiles don`t get damaged.
Variable Roller Speed
The roller speed can be regulated in 5 stages, allowing you always to work at your own pace and most appropriately for the textile type and its residual moisture content.
Free Roller End
Shirts and skirts are always fiddly to iron by hand. With its free roller end, the Miele rotary iron makes the gentle ironing of collars, yokes and hems quick and easy.
Correct Temperature
To protect the fabric, the temperature is freely adjustable according the care label on the garment being ironed. Three large-surface heater elements then distribute the heat evenly across the roller for perfect results.
Minimum Storage Space
The Miele rotary iron folds up easily, occupying only 0.2m2 of storage space when folded. It has four stable castors for ease of transportation.
